Getaway Shooter is a chaotic two-player game where you race three others to the finish line. Your moves are limited, and you can only move by jumping left or right, making the race tricky! Pick up guns and other weapons along the way to use against the others. May the best player win!

How to play Getaway Shootout

You can only use the keys W and E to move your character: clicking them will orient the character towards either left (W) or right (E), while releasing them after a longer pressing will make it jump in the same direction. The concept of the game is that the four characters are escaping a dangerous situation, which might be a falling aeroplane, where you need to be the first to get to the parachute, but only the first one reaching the goal will be saved. So it’s fair to use all of the available resources to prevent the others from advancing, while keeping the focus on being fast and efficient in your moves. Easier said than done!

Use the time trial as a training to practice the eight different available maps.

Play solo or with a friend

This 2-player game created double the fun when you team up with a friend using the same keyboard. Don't have a partner to play with? The game is available in one-player mode. Choose one of the characters at the beginning of the game and jump right in.

Jump to move

You will literally be "jumping" in the game. Gameplay dynamics are limited to left and right ragdoll-like jumps, making it difficult to race to the finish. You will soon see that jumping left or right creates quite a chaotic scene! The degree to which you move depends on how long you hold in either direction.

Anything goes

There are multiple rounds in the race, each taking place in a different location. Race to the finish line and pick up weapons and upgrades as you come across them. Use your weapons to attack the other racers on your way to the end!

Character and weapons

There are multiple characters to choose from, with over 30 options. Characters will be equipped with weapons such as sniper guns, shotguns, bombs, etc., to protect themselves from opponents and obstacles - you are, after all, on the lam!
